Carmudi showcases Speed and Drive at 10th Manila International Auto Show

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Carmudi, one of the fastest growing global online vehicle marketplaces, had an exhibit at the recently concluded 10th Manila International Auto Show showcasing its website that allows customers to experience the ease of buying and selling vehicles with the click of a mouse.

Filipinos are huge internet fanatics. In 2012 it was recorded that there were 36 million online users and it is predicted that there will be 41 million by 2014. Internet-capable mobile phones are becoming very popular in Asia, especially the Philippines, which is among the fastest growing smartphone markets in Southeast Asia—so there is no question that everything offline is transitioning into the online world.

Nicolas Boldt, country manager of www.carmudi.com.ph stated: “With the online awareness in Asia growing at an incredibly fast pace, it is only right that we are part of such a revolutionary change and are helping to shape the auto industry in the Philippines. The exhibition allowed us to really showcase the transparency that we bring in our transactions to our users.”

“Buyers do not have to worry about unreliable listings; all sellers are personally visited and verified by the Carmudi team. The online platform is a real support mechanism providing sellers with an exceptional quality and focusing solely on their needs, whilst driving growth in the automotive industry,” he added.

Throughout the duration of the event, the Carmudi team offered visitors the opportunity to experience the process and guide to buying and selling vehicles with just a few simple clicks. In addition, they displayed captivating visuals and platform features. Experts from the Netherlands and Germany also conducted live demonstrations, and there was an option to take the experience back home with fun photo souvenirs.

Apart from enjoying a fun and interactive experience, attendees were able to find their very own dream vehicle—in a fast, easy and trustworthy way. They were provided with a wide range of high-quality cars and motorcycles—visible online—and presented with the option to sort vehicles by any characteristic from color to horsepower.

The Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), which was held last April 3-6 at the World Trade Center, is the Philippines’ biggest motor show. Carmudi aims to be a game-changer for the Filipino car market.
