Kerwin's 'drug queen' source surrenders to PNP chief

MANILA, Philippines – Lovely Adam Impal, said to be the drug source of confessed distributor Kerwin Espinosa, surrendered to the Philippine National Police on Monday morning.
PNP Director General Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa said that Impal surrendered out of fear for her life. He declined to provide further details on her knowledge regarding the illegal drug trade.
“Merong binanggit si Kerwin na upline niya or kaya ka-level lang niya na 'drug queen' ng south na ang pangalan ay si Lovely Impal Adams,” Dela Rosa said in the press briefing.
“Just this morning, nag-surrender siya sa akin escorted by (Regional Director PRO ARMM Chief Superintendent Agripino Javier),” he added.
At the Senate probe into the killing of late Albuera, Leyte Mayor Roland Espinosa Sr., Dela Rosa disclosed that Impal tagged several other cops in the drug trade. He added that these police officers will be later on relieved from office.
Kerwin earlier implicated Impal as one of his supposed sources of illegal drugs.
According to Dela Rosa, Impal is now undergoing investigation at the custody of the Anti-Illegal Drugs Group.
