Sad day for the barrio

DEAD. A long time ago in a small barrio in Mindanao, a woman with a humpback was found dead along the roadside. Since she had no known relatives, good Samaritans took care of her burial.

WAKE. At her wake, another hunchback who was also a woman, led the prayers. One night, while reciting the prayer "Confiteor" and striking her breast with her clenched fist at the same time, the woman died.

SAD. It was a sad day for everybody in that barrio.
