Talisaulog kicks off in Talisay
CEBU, Philippines — The City of Talisay will be staging the Talisaulog, a series of events to usher the Sinulog and the City’s Charter Day.
Mayor Samsam Gullas said the event, spearheaded by the Talisay Chamber of Commerce, Trade and Industry Inc, will have a trade fair, auto and moto show, job fair, and many more.
The event kicked off yesterday and will have its finale on January 21 at the Talisay City Hall Plaza.
The event opened with an auto show featuring booster audio cars, moto show-Thai and stance, while from January 12 to 14 the auto show will have a variety of sports, muscle cars, and rigged cars. On January 19 to 21, vintage and classic motorcycles will be showcased.
On Jan. 8 to 18, there will also be live bands, variety of shows, DJ mixes, and games. On the 15th of January, the city of Talisay will also be launching its job fair.
The series of events will end with a grand finale on Jan. 21 with a car show and foam party.
Mayor Gullas also disclosed that they will also be holding a concert featuring some top-rated local artists for its Charter Day celebration.
More events and activities are also expected in the coming days.
