Designs that Shine – Without Outshining the Wearers

CEBU, Philippines — Beauties representing various cities and municipalities in Cebu, numbering 54 in all, flaunted the creations of designers affiliated with one of the metro’s design schools, and a multiway-style swimwear piece made by one of the country’s name designers shone at swimwear and long gown pre-pageant of Binibining Cebu 2020.

Staged at the Mandani Bay Tent in Mandaue City on November 13, the pre-pageant did set the spotlight on the radiance and allure of this year’s candidates very much incorporating the appeal and practical points of contemporary themes and motifs.

The designs showcased at the event tapered their hems on one of fashion design’s most revered principles, that is: a piece should shine without outshining its wearer.
