CEBU, Philippines - The hotel that’s more like home gave an appreciation dinner for its top clients and friends. During the Annual Bookers’ Night on Friday, September 30, St. Mark Hotel awarded Security Bank for “the most number of room nights produced for the year 2015,” Cebu Merlion for “the most number of banquet functions for the year 2015,” and Smart Communications for “the most producing new account for 2016.”

The members of the hotel’s board of directors were in full force at the event: Quito Farrarons, Chip Farrarons, Alex Pimentel and Mark Goldsworthy. The hotel’s department heads were all present as well: Hotel Manager Gieselle Abinales, Food and Beverage Manager Loreto Suerte, Executive Chef Jeffrey Rivera, Sales Manager Kressa Macapobre, and Assistant Front Office Manager Cristina Baloco – leading their respective staffs.

The gathering was warm and casual, nothing whatsoever of the stiffness that usually characterize such events. It was instead reflective of the homey character of St. Mark Hotel, very personal but not uncomfortably too familiar. It exuded the good feel of a family occasion.
