Encarnacion debuts as Choco Mucho faces ZUS Coffee

MANILA, Philippines — Jumping from one team to another isn’t easy for Jewel Encarnacion.
When she landed in a proud team in Choco Mucho – her third club in a year – Encarnacion vowed to give her best and contribute in whatever way possible.
“Choco Mucho is my new family and I want to help achieve our goals,” said the 25-year-old outside hitter, who suited up for Galeries Tower early last year, moved to Cignal months later before jumping to the Flying Titans’ lair after the Super Spikers went on leave last May.
Encarnacion may have arrived at a time when Choco Mucho needs it most as it will play minus its top two scorers in Sisi Rondina and Eya Laure when it clashes with ZUS Coffee in today’s PVL on Tour in Batangas City.
“I’ll continue to be coachable and work hard,” she said.
Apart from Encarnacion, the Flying Titans should also rely heavily on old reliables – Kat Tolentino, Maddie Madayag, Isa Molde, Des Cheng and Dindin Manabat – as they battle the dangerous Thunderbelles, who roared in last Wednesday’s opener in Ilagan, Isabela and shocked the Akari Chargers.
In that surprise win, ZUS drew strength from new recruits Zam Nolasco and Jolina dela Cruz.
