All set for Dupax 5-stag derby

MANILA, Philippines — Bigtime stagfighting resumes at Pasay City Cockpit on Thursday via the SC Man Dupax 5-Stag Derby, an exciting showdown of Metro Manila against Northern Luzon’s leading gamefowl breeders.

Bannered by at least 100 fights, the event will be hosted by Norman Ranon of Nueva Vizcaya and supported by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000.

Ranon also staged a big stagfest at Pasay cockpit in 2017 with 59 entries.

The long list of championship hopefuls on Thursday include cockfight idol Patrick Antonio, Tony Antonio, Mayor Boyet Ynares, Rey Directo, Capt. RR Lacson, Exodus and Silver Taff  entries, Ed Miranda, Cora Quezon, Ferdie Sales, Engr. Parungao, Chocolate Gamefarm, Doc Ronnie Magbalon;

Jun Rollo, Nono Gamefarm, JF Dones, Jun Pakingan, Eric dela Rosa,  Aglipay Cockpit Arena, JR Nikki, Jun Balatbat, Rep. Jose Panganiban, Kampo Nueva Vizcaya, J. Paneda, Bernie Tacoy, Mike Vasquez, Atty. Bernard Muro, Delfin Sebastian, San Isidro Cockpit and Gerald Cerda.

The “Sandy and Palito Big Event 6-Stag Derby” comes next at PCC on Monday, Nov. 25.

Members of the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) will see action in the “PFGB Digmaan 11-Stag National Derby” on Nov. 28 followed by the “Frankie and Friends 5-Stag Derby” on Nov. 29.
