UFCC derby under way at LPC
MANILA, Philippines - The Ultimate Fighting Cock Championships (UFCC) 6-cock derby has lined up 70 top-notch fights featuring the aces of the country’s leading cockers and breeders at Las Piñas Coliseum today.
The event serves as the third of the seven-leg circuit scheduled at LPC.
Gerry Ramos (AAO) and Edwin Tose (April 5 Dayang Dayang) topped the first and second legs, respectively.
Twenty-six other leading cockers will field in their top entries, led by Mayor Nene Aguilar (Aivee), winner of the recent Teves Brothers 4-cock derby at Biñan Coliseum and which turned in two runner-up finishes in the UFCC circuit.
Meanwhile, 47 participants posted two wins each in the ongoing Regalo ni Mayor Nene 5-cock derby at LPC.
The grand finals will be held Wednesday with more than 130 fights on tap. For those who will field straight five cocks, entry fee is P7,000.
