Segui, 2 others rule ABC bowl quarterly

MANILA, Philippines - Buddy Segui of Duraflex THHN dominated Group A while Joan Mendoza of Boysen Paints and Jho Madrinal of Romari Construction took the Group B and C crowns in the Architects Bowling Club’s Quarterly Championship at the E-Lanes Center in San Juan City last week.

Segui rolled a 1766 to beat Nepthy Del Rosario of Boysen Paints, who had a 1671, for the Group A plum, while Ronnie Javier of Boysen Healthy Homes and Manny Padit of Philflex finished third and fourth with 1603 and 1553, respectively.

Mendoza came through with a 1455 to edge Romi de Jesus of We Konstruct, who scored a 1452, for the Group B diadem while Jimmy Ocampo of American Wires and DN Steel’s Rudy Serrano turning in 1416 and 1423 to place third and fourth, respectively.

Madrinal put in a 1493 and bested Malou del Rosario of Boysen Paints, who had a 1472, with Zeny Prudente of Moldex Pipes and Michael Macasieb of Boysen Paints scoring 1386 and 1274 for third and fourth, respectively.

Meanwhile, the weekly tournament, sponsored by Boysen Philippines, Boysen Acrytex/Knoxout/Healthyhome/Wallguard, American Wires, Philflex, Crown Pipes, Glass Asia, Duraflex TW/THHN Wires, Philflex Cables, Emerald Pipes, Concrete Ventures, Consnet Builders, Morning Sun, WeKonstruct, Miraga Trading, Coach Furnitures, Moldex Pipes, Steeltech, Goldbridge Neighborhood Dental, E.S.Vidal Builders, PNS Advanced Steel Tech, Romari Constructions, DN Steel, Matson Builders, Syngenta and Mighty Lynx, resumes at 7 tonight for the ABC Singles’ Event with the Quarterly Awards rites and election of the new board of directors set after the games.
