Crabtime clinches NCA 6-cock derby crown

MANILA, Philippines - Crabtime of Boss Mulong bested a tough field to scored 5 1/2 points and emerge solo champion in the National Cockers Alliance six-cock derby at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City last week. It got 5 1-2 points.

Driven of Jake Javier and TR, Flying Horse of Rep. Panganiban, and Jimafer BG of Engr. Canlas shared runner-up honors with five points while Arman Santos’ AA Jade Resort wound up with 4 1/2 points.

Wicked Orani of Ruel Ricafort, Cebu Big Event of Rodelo Diamante, National Barkadahan Cup of Eric dela Rosa and Butchoy Olano, Santa Monica Barkadahan of Tady Palma, Father & Son of Marvin and Gene Perez, SF Blue Quartz 2 of Beboy Uy, and SR Pedro Joshua of Rep. Unabia finished with similar four points in the event sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor.

Meanwhile, a six-cock derby will be held on April 22 with the country’s top cockers and breeders fielding in their top-notch entries in the event hosted by Gov. Ito Ynares and Atong Ang.
