Battle of Champs up

MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance, the premier organization of gamefowl breeders and cockfighting enthusiasts in the country, holds another derby Tuesday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig, with Claude Bautista, Edgar Santos and Ruel Ricafort as hosts.

During the NCA derby held Jan.  28 and hosted by Elan Nagano and Rene Medina, “PE ni Armen” of Pol Estrellado and Arnold Mendoza captured the championship with six points.

At second with five points were “CPB AAO” of Gov. Claude Bautista.

“Flying Horse” of Rep.  Panganiban and “Pasay Big Event” of  Rep. Patrick Antonio placed third with 4 1/2 points each.

“Phoenix” of Mario Villamor, “Barkadahan SJC” of Rene Gonzales, and “SF Blue Quartz 1” and “SF Blue Quartz 2” of Bebot Uy got four points each.

“Sundance” of RVP and Phil Sy, “AA Jade Resort” of Arman Santos, “Binangonan” and “Binangonan Macking BJ” of Gov. Ito Ynares, and “Lucky Chances RDA” of Rene Adao got three  points each.
