Fore by Four under way at Eagle Ridge

MANILA, Philippines - Eagle Ridge, one of Asia’s largest golf complexes, hosts an extra-large field of  492 players in Gen. Trias, Cavite today for the start of the Fore By Four Invitational member-guest golf tournament.

The Fore By Four showcases the four 18-hole championship courses of Eagle Ridge, making  it uniquely different from other member-guest events.

While it normally takes four days to finish and two shotgun tee-offs per day to accommodate a large field, Eagle Ridge will get it done in two days with just one shotgun start per round.

A lucky pair will be driving home with a new Mitsubishi Mirage each when the tournament ends Saturday. This is on top of another Mitsubishi G4 sedan that will be at stake as a prize for a hole-in-one on designated holes at the four golf courses.

Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla and Sta. Lucia Land chairman Vicente Santos head guests in the competition presented by Delta Airlines, Korea Airlines, ICTSI and WG Golf with San Miguel Purefoods Corp., LK Marketing and Whealth, Inc. as major sponsors.

To be rewarded are the top finishers in eight different divisions – Classes A, B, C and D and ladies for the regular member-guest events, the member-member, the guest-guest and the sponsors division.

At the head of this year’s preparations for the event are Eagle Ridge sports and games committee chair Ramil Villanueva and general manager Raymond Bunquin.
