Luzande, Ong top architects bowling

MANILA, Philippines - Bibs Luzande of Duraflex THHN Wires rolled an eight-game series of 1621 to capture the Group I crown while Kathlyn Ong of Philflex Wires and Cables took the Group 2 plum with a 1419 in the Architects Bowling Club’s Final Architects Cup event at E Lanes Center in Ortigas Ave., Greenhills.

Hermie Prudente of Boysen Wallguard finished second with 1617, Dante Manglicmot of Boysen Virtuoso had 1615 for third while Manny Padit of Philflex Cables scored 1612 for fourth in Group I of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Jun Queri of La Vida Verde carded a 1378, Ariel Uy of Boysen Knoxout made a 1344 while Sonny Esguerra of ABC Phils. had a 1333 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

The event, backed by Nation Paints, Boysen Healthy Homes, Duraflex Thw/TW Wires, Concrete Ventures, Colorsteel, Moldex Pipes, We Konstruct, Steeltech, Crown Pipes Supreme, HCG Phils., Firefly-Royu, JS Alvarez Electrical Contractor, Emerald Pipes, Philflex Wires and Atlanta Pipes, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the monthly championship, also at E Lanes.
