Sports ed's uncle, 61

MANILA, Philippines –  Carlos Lao Cardona, uncle of The Daily Tribune sports editor Aldrin Cardona, died on Thursday due to a massive stroke.

He was 61.

He is survived by brother Alfonso, sisters Divina and Elizabeth, wife Concepcion, sons Joseph and John James, and daughters Jasmin and Junice. He is the son of Antonio (+) and Soledad (+) Cardona.

His remains lie in state at the Cardona residence, St.   Joseph St., Paula Homes in Molino, Bacoor, Cavite.

Interment will be at the Heavenly Peace Memorial Garden, also in Bacoor, on a date to be announced later.
