Glaiza, bibiyahe sa Netherlands!

Dadalo si Glaiza de Castro sa gaganaping International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) this month sa Netherlands para sa world premiere ng documentary film na 58th ng GMA Public Affairs and GMA Pictures na tinalakay ang Maguindanao Massacre sa pamamagitan ng kuwento ni Reynaldo “Bebot” Momay na sinasabing ika-58th na biktima.

Dinirek ni Carl Joseph Papa, ginagampanan ni Glaiza ang character bilang Reynafe Castillo, Momay’s daughter, na ang kuwento ay sumasalamin sa patuloy na pagluluksa at paghahangad ng hustisya ng mga pamilya kasunod ng trahedya.

“I am deeply honored and grateful to be part of 58th and to portray a role that gives voice to the victims’ families and keeps their call for justice alive,” ayon kay Glaiza.

Pinagsasama ang animation sa archival footage, isinalaysay ng 58th ang trahedya para sa isang bagong henerasyon, na tinitiyak na hindi malilimutan ang mga kuwento ng mga biktima. Ang pelikula ay final project din ng yumaong si Ricky Davao, na gumanap bilang Reynaldo Momay. Kasama naman sa supporting cast sina Mikoy Morales, Marco Masa, Zyren Dela Cruz at Biboy Ramirez.

“When I heard about our film premiering at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, of course, I was super excited because it’s GMA Pictures’ first feature to premiere outside the Philippines. And it’s also my first film festival. So it’s kind of become like a Christmas gift and a birthday gift for me,” sabi ng actress.

“I am also looking forward to watching films from different parts of the world, and the panel discussions, so I’m very excited to be in that same environment and with talented directors and actors who will also participate in the film festival,” dagdag ni Glaiza na matalik na kaibigan ni Angelica Panganiban.

Anyway, last week lang nag-birthday si Glaiza at sa isang post ay pinaramdam ni Angelica ang pagmamahal sa kaibigan “Sa kinalakihan nating industriya, napakadami nating ginagampanang role sa buhay. Pero ang pinaka paborito kong role mo ay ang maging matalik kang kaibigan. Mahusay ka dun. Maligayang hipbamp sa bertdey mo amigah. Mahal kita.”
