Gilas kikilatisan ng Mindanao selection

MANILA, Philippines - Ang grupo nina Carlo Lastimosa, Jio Jalalon at Glenn Khobuntin ng Mindanao All-Stars ang unang susukat sa Gilas Pilipinas sa pagdribol ng three-leg 2017 PBA All-Star series sa Xavier University Gym sa Cagayan De Oro City.

Magtatagpo ang dalawang koponan ngayong alas-7:30 ng gabi matapos ang Shooting Stars event na lalahukan nina Khobuntin, Jalalon at Cyrus Baguio.

“Skills wise, kayang tumapat ng team dahil pare-pareho namang PBA players ‘yan,” sabi ni PBA Mindanao All Stars coach Chito Victolero.

Ngunit inamin ni Victolero na may bentahe ang Nationals ni mentor Chot Reyes.

“Kaya lang may June Mar Fajardo sila and they’ve been training together. We’re just about to gather for a practice,” wika ni Victolero.

Ang iba pang bumubuo sa PBA Min-danao All-Stars ay sina Baguio, Mark Barroca, Scottie Thompson, PJ Simon, Rafi Reavis, Sonny Thoss, Baser Amer, Moala Tautuaa at Troy Rosario.

Ang Gilas squad ay kinabibilangan naman nina Fajardo, Terrence Romeo, LA Revilla, Mike Tolomia, RR Pogoy, Matthew Wright, Kevin Ferrer, Carl Bryan Cruz, Alfonso Gotladera at Bradwyn Guinto.

Pinaghahandaan ng Gilas team ang darating na SEABA Championship na nakatakda sa Mayo 12-18 sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Dumating ang PBA delegation sa Cagayan de Oro City kahapon kung saan sinalubong ng kanilang mga fans ang mga PBA stars.

Sina Lastimosa, Jalalon, Khobuntin at Baguio ay pamilyar sa mga CDO basketball fans matapos maglaro sa high school sa nasabing probinsya bago hugutin sa Manila.
