Ravena, Teng sa Seaoil-NBTC HS Finals opening ceremony

MANILA, Philippines – Sina dating San Sebastian center at ngayon ay kabilang sa Purefoods Hotshots Ian Sangalang at mga UAAP stars na sina Kiefer Ravena ng Ateneo at Jeron Teng ng La Salle ang mga mangunguna sa magiging bisita sa pagbubukas ng 2015 Seaoil-National Basketball Trai­ning Center National High School Championships bukas sa Ynares Sports Arena sa Pasig City.

Dadalo rin ang iba pang hinahangaan sa collegiate leagues tulad nina Baser Amer, Arthur dela Cruz, Rondal Sara ng San Beda, Arnold Van Opstal ng La Salle, Scottie Thompson ng Perpetual Help, Von Pessumal ng Ateneo, Mike Tolomia ng FEU at Troy Rosario, Glenn Khobuntin at Gelo Alolino ng National University.

Sina Kevin Alas ng Letran, Globalport guard Terrence Romeo at Rain or Shine guard Jeric Teng ay inaasahang makikiisa rin sa seremonyas na opisyal na magbubukas sa ligang suportado ng MVP Sports Foundation at itinala­gang grassroots program ng Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.

Bibigyan din ng pagkilala si Joel Lopa ng Tao Corporation at Nokia Philippines na siyang unang nagtaguyod sa NBTC bukod sa pagpondo sa U16 at U18 national teams mula 2007 hanggang 2009.

Kasama rin sa bibigyan ng pagpupugay ay si Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2014 Mary Jean Lastimosa.

“It always feels great to be reunited with young, outstanding players who first showcased their skills and talent in our backyard before moving on to bigger things,” wika ni NBTC program founder Eric Altamirano.

May 18 koponan na nakuha sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa ang magsusukatan sa national finals mula Marso 6 hanggang 8 sa Meralco Gym, Ynares Sports Arena at Philsports Arena.
