Duterte: Pinas hindi pa handa para makipag-giyera sa China
MANILA, Philippines — “I cannot fight China. It would be a war which I can never win. I do not have the might, we are not ready to go to war. We cannot afford it and we will not win it. And why would I sacrifice the lives”?
Ito ang inihayag ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Filipino community sa Russia at inamin na hindi niya kayang igiit ang panalo ng Pilipinas sa West Philippine Sea dahil hindi mananalo sa giyera sa China.
“They have a missile that can reach Manila in seven minutes. Would I be crazy to go to war with that kind of armaments arrayed against my country? Mahirap na mag-assert ka, kasi kung bubukuhin ka, insultuhin ka, away talaga ‘yan,” dagdag ng Pangulo.
Magugunita na nanalo sa arbitral ruling sa Permanent Court of Arbitration sa The Hague laban sa China sa West Philippine Sea pero ayaw kilalanin ito ng China.
At nang magkita sina Duterte at Chinese President Xi Jinping ay inungkat ng Pangulo ang Hague ruling pero ayaw itong kilalanin ng China.
