'Icamax' dili makaapil sa ASEAN MTB Cup Series

CEBU, Philippines - Dili  makaapil  ang  Sugbuanang kampiyon sa 2014 Philippine Youth Games Batang Pinoy Cycling Championships sa ipahigayong ASEAN MTB Cup sugod karong adlawa didto sa Manlayag-Patag sa Danao City amihanang bahin sa Sugbu.

Si  Ana  Patricia  'Ica' Maximo, 15-anyos sa YKKBikes.com dili pa mahimong moapil tungod sa iyang pangedaron. Kinahanglan  mag-edad  siya og 17-anyos aron mo-qualify sa UCI-sanctioned Women Junior category Cross Country Olympics (XCO).

"In the first place, I am not expecting a podium finish because I am still young. I just want to experience how it is to join an international MTB race and the demands of competing with the best in the region," dugang pa sa  2014 Sportswriters Association  of  Cebu (SAC) awardee.

Sa laing bahin, ang maguwang ni Icamax nga si Luis Miguel,  19-anyos, sa Ateneo de Manila,  apil sa Men's Open (19-above) category.

Si Igimax, kampiyon sa  2012 Xterra Lite Triathlon ug 2013 Ironman 70.3 Triathlon Relay.

"The course is very difficult and I'm a newbie in MTB racing. My goal is to finish the race," sumala pa ni two-time SAC awardee ug kanhi sakop sa RP Junior Road Cycling team. (BANAT NEWS)
