Brooks, Abucayan nagpanikad na

CEBU, Philippines - Nagpanikad na ang duha ka heavyweight Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters nga sila si Cris 'Lindol' Brooks ug Lloyd 'Destroyer' Abucayan  sa ilang makasaysayanong title fight sa main event sa "Ground and Pound VII: Resolution" ugma sa gabii diha sa Cebu Coliseum.

Kini ang labing unang higayon sa kasaysayan sa Combat Sports sa Sugbu nga duha ka protagonista ang  mag-abot sa MMA heavyweight championship fight.

"We are all going to witness by far the biggest MMA fight in Cebu. Expect that this Saturday fight fans will see high-caliber and exciting MMA fights inside the ring," matud pa ni Yaw-Yan ArDigma Cebu CEO/Founder Master Benigno 'Ekin' R. Caniga Jr.

"Daku ko og respeto niya (Brooks) pero salig ko sa akong abilidad ug mouli ko sa Davao dala ang belt," matud pa ni Abucayan atol sa press conference kagahapon didto sa Yaw-Yan ArDigma Cebu headquarters.

"I'm a Yaw-Yan ArDigma fighter. I trained with the best and I learned a lot from the teachings of Master Ekin.

I’m going for the knockout to get that belt," segun pa ni Brooks.

Gawas sa GPC heavyweight showdown, laing tulo ka bakus ang awayan dihang   si Lorde Rey 'Punisher' Yamit sa Mindanao modepensa sa iyang GPC lightweight title batok ni Kru Robert 'Maldito' Serdone sa Redneos Iron Gladiator MMA sa Talisay City.

Sila si James 'Spider' Serenio ug URCC veteran Victor 'Gladiator' Torre  magsangka alang sa GPC flyweight belt.

Sa nag-inusarang kickboxing match, si Yaw-Yan Fighting Challenge (YFC) champion Renante 'Limbas' Noblefranca mohimo sa iyang ikaduhang title defense batok  ni Marjun 'Muma Warrior' Porriento, kanhi sakop sa Philippine Muay Thai team.

Ang mga tiket nagkantidad og P200 sa upper box, P400 sa lower box, P750 sa ringside ug P1,500 alang sa VIP seats.
