Romasanta magbibitiw sa POC kapag nanalo ng gold ang mga shooters sa 2010 Guangzhou Asiad

MANILA, Philippines - Itinaya ni Philippine Olym­pic Committee (POC) spokesman at Chef De Mission Joey Romasanta ang kanyang posisyon kung mananalo ng gold medal ang mga national shoo­ters sa 16th Asian Games sa Guangzhou, China sa Nobyembre.

Ito ang inihayag ni Romasanta sa isang television interview kamakalawa ng gabi.

Ipinilit ni Philippine Na­tional Shooting Association (PNSA) president Art Macapagal na ipasok sa delegasyon ang mga pangalan nina Michaela Padilla, Shanin Lyn Gonzalez, Alyanna Chuatoco, Charisse Palma at Hagen Alexander Topacio para sa 2010 Guangzhou Asiad.

Nauna nang nailista ang mga pangalan nina Tac Padilla, Mark Manosca at Jason Valdez sa official entries ng PNSA.

Sa nasabing tv interview, sinabi ni Romasanta na handa niyang bitawan ang kanyang posisyon sa POC kung mananalo ng gintong medalya ang mga national shooters sa 2010 Asian Games.

Gusto ring ihabol ni Ma­capagal sina national trap shooters Jethro Dionisio at Eric Padilla.

“We want as many athletes to qualify, but not to the extent that they will become burdens to the entire delegation,” sabi ni Romasanta.
