15 NSAs di sumipot sa POC General Assembly

Labing limang National Sports Association heads ang hindi sumipot sa General Assembly ng Philippine Olympic Committee kahapon sa El Cirkulo Restaurant sa Makati Ciy kahapon.

Kabilang sa mga di dumalo sa meeting ay si athletics chief Go Teng Kok na nagsabing ito’y pagpapakita ng kanilang pagprotesta sa liderato ni POC president Celso Dayrit.

Gayunpaman, itinuloy pa rin ang General Assembly dahil sa pamamagitan ng 18 NSA heads ay nabuo ang qourum.

"We’re not surprised at all because ‘yun naman (boycott) ang kumakalat na balita," ani Dayrit pagkatapos ng dalawang oras na meeting. "What’s important is that we had a qourum."

Kumpleto ang Board maliban kay taekwondo head Robert Aventejado, ang POC Chairman.

Inaprobahan sa naturang assembly ang guidelines para sa partisipasyon ng bansa sa nalalapit na Busan Games sa Korea sa September.
