Search for the Happiest Pinoy

-

MANILA, Philippines - The Search for the Happiest Pinoy is accepting entries until Dec. 31, 2009.

Sponsored by Cebuana Lhuillier Insurance Solutions (CLIS), the insurance arm of the P.J. Lhuillier Group of companies, the Search for the Happiest Pinoy aims to celebrate and reward the Filipino’s innate spirit of optimism.

The contest centers on three main criteria: a constantly optimistic face and cheerful outlook in life, a proven ability to rise above life’s challenges, and a positive impact on the lives of others.

The contest also aims to complement the CLIS’s thrust of highlighting the benefits of being insured such as peace of mind, security, and freedom from constant fear of uncertainty.

The Happiest Pinoy will be given P200,000 and four runners-up will receive P25,000 each.

Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Search for the Happiest Pinoy website www.happiest-pinoy.com, or obtained from any Cebuana Lhuillier branch nationwide. Accomplished entry forms can be uploaded to the website or sent to the CLIS office head office at 821 A. Spring corner J.P. Rizal Sts., Makati City.

The contest’s judges include University of the Philippines president Dr. Emerlinda Roman, Asian Institute of Management dean Prof. Victoria Licuanan, Brahma Kumaris chair Rebecca Ortega, Environmental Heroism awardee Timmy Cruz, and Gawad Kalinga chairman Antonio Meloto.

The winners will be announced during the awards night on Jan. 28, 2010.
