National Artist Bencab receives Congressional recognition

MANILA, Philippines – National Artist Benedicto Reyes Cabrera received congressional recognition on the occasion of his 50th year as a professional visual artist for his contributions and accomplishments in the realm of visual arts that enriched Philippine culture and brought honor and pride to the Filipino people. Rep. Eric Singson sponsored the resolution with Kimi Cojuangco of the committee on education. With them are House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte, Anne Sarthou, and Jasmine Cabrera, daughter of BenCab.
