MMCO crystal anniversary concert series

MANILA, Philippines - Now on its 15th Crystal Year, MMCO has lined up its major performances under the baton of multi-awarded veteran conductor and composer, Josefino Chino Toledo. Opening the concert season on Aug. 7 is Austrian-based pianist Aima Labra Makk. The first part of the concert also features the special participation of Asia’s Got Talent finalist, Gerphil Geraldine Flores.

Internationally-acclaimed concert pianist Raul Sunico will be performing the Prokofiev Piano Concerto No. 3 on Sept. 18.

On Oct. 21 virtuoso concert pianist, Jose Artemio Panganiban III, will perform the Brahms Concerto No. 1.

Tschaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 is slated to be performed by Albert Tiu on Nov. 30, while Jan. 8, 2016 will feature mother-and-daughter performers, pianist Cristine Coyiuto, who will play Maurice Ravel’s Concerto in G-Major, and flute soloist Caitlin Coyiuto who will perform Joaquin Rodrigo’s Fantasia Para Un Gentil Hombre.

Capping the 15th Crystal Concert Season is the magnificent Rachmaninoff Concerto No. 3 on Feb. 5, 2016, the MMCO’s Valentine offering, to be performed by world-class concert pianist, Abelardo Galang II.
