Real Fun Party

One of Cosmo Manille’s hostesses with the mostest, fashionable Marisa Olasolo Rocha together with husband, mega-business magnate el simpatico Arturo Rocha, hosted a cocktail/dinner buffet at their elegant Forbes Park home for their close gang of pals that included Edward Wehrli, acting Consul General of the US Embassy and his wife Rosemary, who left for their new post as Con-Gen in Islamabad, Pakistan a couple of sleeps ago, dahlings, and Stuart Patt, chief of the Non-Immigrant Visa Unit of the US Embassy, who also left for a new post as press spokesman of the Consular Bureau of the State Department in Washington DC.

The farewell bash had 120 assorted namedroppable hot shots, palanggas, all having a great time with the great food, catered by Marisa’s favorite Glenda Barretto of Via Mare, until the moment came to say their farewells to the honorees. As in all of Arturo and Marisa’s parties, the guests stayed way past the 6:30 to 8:30 cocktail hour. But then, dahlings, that’s what real fun parties are all about, n’est ce pas?
