Video of the Day: Science explains why everyone loves pizza

MANILA, Philippines - Who could resist the melted mozzarella, juicy meat toppings and the aromatic smell of pizza? 

Pizza is probably the most appreciated food in the world. There is just something about pizza that makes it so irresistible, and science has found a way to explain why.

American Chemical Society has explained the chemistry that takes place on a pizza with a video, part of the organization’s Reactions series.

According to them, it is not just about the dough and cheese, we could all thank the 'Maillard Reaction.'
