Dagupan gives P4.5 M for Brigada
DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines — The city government here has extended P4.5 million worth of construction materials for the rehabilitation of classrooms and facilities during Brigada Eskwela in preparation for the school opening on June 4.
Mayor Belen Fernandez said that to encourage children to go to school, the city also distributed on May 29 school supplies to all Grades 1 to 4 pupils and office supplies to 1,360 public school teachers during the Division Brigada Eskwela kick-off ceremony at Bonuan Boquig National High School.
With the construction of school buildings, multi-purpose covered court gym and elevation of pathways, the city government aims to maintain safety and cleanliness in schools to ensure a conducive learning environment for schoolchildren.
