DEVOTION AND DRAG. A stage was erected near a chapel celebrating its fiesta. A man asked a nearby vendor what it was for.

“Para asa ‘nang entablado ma’am?”

“Para sa Miss Gay human sa pangadyi.”

“Ha?! Abi nakog solemne nga piyesta? Sagulon man lagi’g binuang!”

The woman could only smile and shrug.
