Erap insists he won

Erap strongly believes he won in the last elections. That's why he'll never conceive, er, concede.

Richard Gomez's slogan when he ran for the 4th district congressional seat in Leyte, was: "Vote one, take two." This was after his disqualification and his replacement by his wife Lucy Torres-Gomez.

Vote one, take two. It means you vote for Lucy and you get Lucy and Richard working for the 4th district and Ormoc City as well. Observers in Ormoc City believe Goma will not leave Lucy alone in the effort to bring development to the 4th district.

Political watchers are expecting a tight fight for the Speakership between Congresswoman-elect Gloria Arroyo and Congressman-elect Sonny Belmonte. Newspaper reports indicate, SB is having an upperhand in this one more political fight to watch.

Correct me if I have forgotten ... Sonny Belmonte has been an Aquino man for most of his political career. It was to SB where President Cory Aquino ran to when she needed someone to help her turn around the GSIS and PAL which were in dismal state when she took over the presidency. SB did it!
