A lady for all seasons

my LIPS are SEALED… sometimes… - Maurice Arcache -
Tipin Rosales Eleazar, dahlings, is still energetic and gorgeous at 80. Famed as a "Campus Beauty" in her early years, Tipin celebrated another beautiful year of her active life during a fabi full moon with close pals and famille. The bash took place in an eye-catching, quaint, garden setting at a posh hotel where her nice and talented six-year-old granddaughter Nika Pacheco played the violin for her beloved grandmother.

Tipin is the proud mother of–take note–seven super successful children: Mandy, Philip, Tony and the dashing Ricky and attractive Patricia, Peggy and Frina. Tipin is also the well-loved mother-in-law of Norie, Tessie, Miren, Yasy, Jun Pachecho, Pipo Angeles and Joey Gomez. Nikki Eleazar says of her grandmother, "Lola is groovy and cool, wears Zebra print clothes and forever retouches her lipstick. Lola sure knows how to have fun with fashion!" Meg and Bea Angeles, the children of Pipo and Peggy, describe their Lola as "One who is passionate about her art." For Maite Eleazar, the upcoming PR persona, Jaja and Jo-Em Eleazar agree that traveling with their lola is the best thing about their annual trips which they insist will not be complete without her.

Tipin has lived her life productively. At her age she can still hold an art exhibit. She has been a good friend to artists, dahlings, who have included the likes of beautiful Southern lady Celia Diaz-Laurel; el simpatico Juvy Sanso; Cheloy Dans; Tessie Dichupa; Cota Yabut; and Corito Kalaw, a graceful lady once used as an artist-model by Guillermo Tolentino, the famed National Artist of the Philippines. Another of Tipin’s classmate, the late famous cartoonist Larry Alcala, has used Tipin’s name in one of his comic series. Her super pal Pitoy Moreno, the "Czar of Philippine Fashion" praised in his newspaper column in 1976 the Chinese art exhibit of Tipin Rosales Eleazar.

During her super bash, Tipin welcomed her beautiful friends Adelia Angeles; Peping and Essen de las Alas; Aurora Nosco; Tomas and Gracing Dadia; Edita Cambe; Natzy Zaragoza; super pals Oming Concepcion, Tessie Pajarillo and fashionable Ching Bernardo, who came in a fabi hat; Gen. Benjamin and Vising Santos; Genia Legaspi; Carlos Requiesta; and the elegant Sol Lavadia.

Other namedroppable invitees were "The Gang" of Celing Chuachaco; the always elegant Imelda Requiesta; Lucy Vergara; Merce Reyes; consistent fashion plate Irene Araneta; Jo Madarang; Jimmy Nanagas; Mila Dayrit; Ading Dayrit; younger, ever so hip sister Letty Rosales; Lourdes Gaskell; Mameng Intengan; plus so many more fun people like them, palanggas.

To the supremely elegant Tipin who has 80 fruitful years as a great wife, mother, grandmother, artist, traveler, friend; to this lady for all seasons and reasons, may you have a 90th bash that will bring your pals of yesteryears and future years to come together again, palanggas!
