P14.25 million shabu, cocaine seized

MANILA, Philippines — Shabu and cocaine with an estimated street value of P14.25 million were seized in Iloilo, Laguna and Rizal on Monday.

Estrelita Bueno, 68, and Noel Llagas, 27, were apprehended by anti-narcotics officers in Barangay Buhang in Jaro, Iloilo City for alleged possession of 1.2 kilos of shabu worth P8.2 million.

The Philippine National Police said Bueno is a ”high-value” drug courier.

In Laguna, Aaron Gidwani, 37, and Mark Paul Pagayon, 41, were arrested in Barangay Balibago in Sta. Rosa at around 10:40 p.m.

Gidwani and Pagayon allegedly sold 500 grams of cocaine worth P2.65 million to an undercover agent.

The two reportedly supply cocaine in Metro Manila and Angeles City.

Police said Frenlie Paolo Valledor and Ailyn Daep were apprehended for possession of P3.4 million worth of shabu in Barangay Dalig in Antipolo. – Jennifer Rendon, Ed Amoroso, Ramon Efren Lazaro
