Cop arrested for pal’s slay

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines — A policeman was arrested for allegedly killing his friend in Barangay Agusan this city yesterday.

S/Sgt. Junlit Lubino of the Jasaan town police shot dead Drixel Tumbaga following an argument during a drinking session at the residence of the policeman, according to Maj. Peter Tajor, police station 6 chief.

He said Lubino’s service firearm, a 9mm pistol, as well as its magazine and bullets were confiscated.
