Bulacan bags most business-friendly LGU award anew
MALOLOS, Philippines — Bulacan has received the most business-friendly local government unit (LGU) award in the provincial level again.
Gov. Daniel Fernando received the award from President Marcos during the 48th Philippine Business Conference and Expo held at the Fiesta Pavilion of The Manila Hotel the other day.
The provincial public affairs office of Bulacan said the province first won the award in 2004.
Fernando gave assurance that the provincial government would continue to work on its commitment to establish a vibrant local economy to provide opportunities for every Bulakenyo.
The President in his speech said the award signified the efforts of LGUs “to make your communities a faster growing, more progressive and more economically agile community in the face of our new global post-pandemic economy.”
