SAN ANTONIO, Zambales, Philippines — A Korean businessman was found floating near the shores off Capones Island in this town, while his wife was reported missing on Saturday, authorities said yesterday.

Reports said Changman Lee, 53, and his wife Hyun Jung Han, 52, own a Korean mart at the Subic Bay Freeport zone.

The couple resides at the Binictican Housing area located at the freeport.

Investigation showed the Koreans arrived in Barangay San Miguel in this town at around 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Lee and his wife hired boatman Wilson Monteza to take them to the Capones Island.

Lee reportedly ordered Monteza to go home and to return the next day to pick them up.

Monteza arrived on the island at around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and saw Lee floating six meters away from the shores.

Authorities have yet to locate Lee’s wife.
