Some roads in Quezon City will be affected by the third State of the Nation Address.

MANILA, Philippines — The Quezon City Police District and the Department of Transportation on Wednesday released the rerouting scheme for President Rodrigo Duterte's third State of the Nation Address on Monday, July 23.

The QCPD set up a counterflow area for motorists going to Batasan complex and also bared the alternative routes for light vehicles heading to and from the affected roads for SONA.

Below appears the re-routing schemes for SONA 2018:

Motorists going to Batasan Complex coming from Quezon Memorial Circle

End of Counterflow at:

  • Exit Zipper lane along Commonwealth Avenue

  • Fronting Lido Restaurant going to IBP Road

  • Fronting of Sandiganbayan going to Fairview

Start of Counterflow at:

  • Use zipper lane along Commonwealth Avenue

  • Fronting Home Depot

Northbound light vehicles: Quezon Memorial Circle to Fairview

  • From Elliptical Road to Quezon Memorial Road

  • Right turn North Avenue then right turn Mindanao Avenue or

  • Right turn Visayas Avenue then left turn Congressional or Tandang Sora exiting Mindanao Avenue

  • Straight toward Old Sauyo Road

  • Then left turn to Regalado Avenue or Chestnut Street going to Fairlane

  • Then head towards the place of destination via Commonwealth Avenue

Southbound light vehicles: Fairview to Quezon Memorial Circle

  • From Commonwealth Avenue, right turn to Fairlane or Regalado Avenue

  • Straight toward Old Sauyo Road

  • Left turn to Mindanao Avenue

  • Then head to the place of destination via North Avenue or Visayas Avenue
