2 more cop chiefs sacked over jueteng

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna , Philippines  – Two more police chiefs in Calabarzon have been relieved from their posts for failing to curb jueteng and other illegal numbers games  in their turfs.

Superintendent Fernando Ortega, Calamba City police chief, was ordered to report to the provincial police holding unit following the arrest of 23 bet collectors and bookies personnel on Tuesday.

Chief Inspector Ronnie Golfo, San Juan, Batangas police chief, was replaced for  failing to stop bookies operations in his area.

Superintendents Gevanny Sibalo of Sto. Tomas and Carlos Barde of Lipa in Batangas as well as Ronan Claravall of San Pablo and Zoric Ludivico Soriano of San Pedro, Laguna were earlier  replaced for failing to stop illegal gambling in their areas.
