Mild quake jolts Southern Tagalog

MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude 2.5 earthquake jolted parts of Southern Tagalog yesterday, but did not cause damage, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
Phivolcs said the epicenter of the tremor, which occurred at around 1:21 p.m., was located three kilometers northeast of Mabini, Batangas.
The quake was felt at Intensity 2 in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro.
