MRT train fails anew
MANILA, Philippines - Commuters were forced to get off a Metro Rail Transit (MRT) train after it failed yesterday morning.
The train failure occurred at around 11:36 a.m. between the Cubao and GMA Kamuning stations, according to the MRT’s website.
Normal operations resumed at around 11:43 a.m.
Last Friday, four train failures were reported, starting from past 6 a.m. to around 8 p.m.
The train failures occurred at around 6:18 a.m. at the Guadalupe station, at around 2:40 p.m. at the Buendia station, at past 5 p.m. at the Santolan Annapolis station and around 8:06 p.m. at the Buendia station.
The MRT said it is doing its best to address the train failures.
