CIDG-Negros chief sacked

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines – The head of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Negros Occidental has been relieved from his post.
Chief Inspector Ariel Artillero was replaced over his “poor performance,” said Senior Superintendent Francisco Esguerra, CIDG-Negros Island Region chief.
Senior Inspector Jovy Cabcaban assumed Artillero’s post effective Sept. 16.
