Boy injured, 15 houses ruined in Quezon tornado

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna , Philippines – A boy was injured and at least 15 houses were destroyed when a tornado struck four barangays in Infanta, Quezon Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

Chief Superintendent James Melad, Calabarzon police director, said the boy was injured when a fallen tree hit him in Barangay Catambungan, Infanta town.

Melad said the tornado struck at around 4 p.m. Thursday in the villages of Binulasan, Abiawin, Ingas and Catambungan.
