Cameraman killed, pal hurt in mishap

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines  – A cameraman of ABS-CBN based here died while his companion was critically injured when the motorcycle they were riding rammed into a concrete flower pot in front of the city hall before dawn yesterday, police said.

Cameraman Gerald Leheup, 25, was declared dead on arrival at the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital.

Leheup’s companion, Angelo Ibrada, remained in serious condition in the same hospital.

Investigation showed that the victims had come from a drinking spree with friends in a restaurant in the Old Albay district.
