Shooting victim dies in road mishap instead

LEGAZPI CITY — A shooting victim being rushed to the hospital lost his life when the ambulance carrying him smashed into a pedicab and then rammed road railings along the Maharlika Highway in Pamplona, Camarines Sur yesterday morning. The pedicab driver was killed, too.

The police identified the shooting victim as Edelberto Bautista, a security aide of Mayor Teresa de la Peña of Sipocot town.
