IN PHOTOS: Boyz II Men welcomed in Manila with 'open arms'

MANILA, Philippines — It was the middle of the working week, but Boyz II Men made sure that staying out late on a Wednesday would be worth it.

For the fourth time now, Boyz II Men had a one-night concert in Manila, as a treat and early promotion of their upcoming album “Collide” to be released on October 21.

The popular '90s group filled the night with the all-time favorite ballad songs their Filipino fans would fall for.

Shawn Stockman told the crowd, "Let me be the first to say, on behalf of Boyz II Men, we missed you! Thank you for believing us, thank you for the love, thank you for being the best fans!"

In the first part of the concert, the group took time reminiscing how they started, how they became the acclaimed Boyz II Men. Having exerted all effort for their music to be heard, the band thanked record label Motown Records for putting its confidence on the trio.

"It has been a gift for all of us, it changed how we do music, it changed how we listen to music, it changed how we sing music, and if not for Motown Music, Boyz II Men hasn't existed because they are influential to us," Shawn said about the record company.

"And consider that we started with Motown Records in 1990, it is only right and it's only fair that we pay homage to that label."

After they take a trip down the memory lane, Shawn, Nathan, and Wanya continued treating their fans with their all-time Boyz II Men favorite singles.
