Robber takes TV, gadgets from Pasay house

MANILA, Philippines — A robber broke into a house in Pasay City last Tuesday and stole P99,000 worth of appliances and gadgets, police said yesterday.

Office clerk Noricel Marucot, 35, told police the robber stole a 54-inch flat-screen television worth P50,000; a P25,000 laptop; an P8,000 tablet phone; and two watches worth P16,000 from the second floor of her house in Kalayaan Village at around 3:20 p.m.

Grainy closed-circuit television footage from Barangay 201 showed the robber driving a motorcycle, bringing the television and a laptop bag.
