Macau-bound OFW caught with bullet in bag

MANILA, Philippines – An overseas Filipino worker bound for Macau was caught with a .45 caliber bullet in the side pocket of her shoulder bag at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Temrinal 2 on Saturday.

X-ray operator Eric Casuple from the Office of Transportation Security detected the image of the bullet in the shoulder bag of Gina Maliwat, 34.

Screener Erwin Bautista inspected the shoulder bag in the presence of airline security representative Aldrin Armada, Police Officer 3 Regente Pascasio and airport policeman Eduardo Poblete.

Maliwat was later released for further investigation.
