Navotas gets support from DOE, Aboitiz

MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Energy (DOE) and the Aboitiz Group of Companies are extending support to the Navotas City government’s health and peace and order programs.

The DOE will turn over today four patrol cars and six motorcycles to the city traffic and parking management office, Mayor John Rey Tiangco said yesterday.

Tiangco said the DOE would also donate two new ambulances to the city health department office.

The city recently received two ambulances, two police cars and eight motorcycles from Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco.

Joel Villanueva, administrative officer of Aboitiz, said they have lined up projects to support the local government’s programs.
