Taguig trader shot dead

MANILA, Philippines - A businessman from Taguig City was shot dead at a fruit and vegetable market along Taft Avenue in Pasay City yesterday morning.

Senior Superintendent Napoleon Cuaton, Pasay City police chief, identified the victim as Jesus Morales.

Initial police report said a man wearing a baseball cap shot the victim several times. The victim was declared dead on arrival at a nearby hospital.
