Frat members arrested

CEBU, Philippines - Seven alleged members of a fraternity were arrested while one eluded arrest after they were caught in the act of sniffing vulcaseal at a roadside in barangay Canduman in Mandaue City Monday afternoon.

Arrested were Alnie James Illustrisimo Natad, 18; Patrick Bacatio Briones, 22; Clifford llorejas Jabines, 21; Arsenio Despi Marzon, 21; Ronald Ico Savequilla, 24; Wingsly Qiachon Morales, 23, and a 17 year old.

The companion that escaped was identified as Kenny Jake Sanchez.

Insp. Luis Alama, chief of Canduman police station, said that, except for Natad, the six others are members of Alpha Kappa Rho (AKHRO).

Charges have been filed against Natad and the alleged fraternity members. (FREEMAN)
